Bullmastiff profile
The Bullmastiff was developed in nineteenth-century England by gamekeepers who needed a dog capable of tracking and silently pinning poachers with strength, speed, courage, and restraint. Bred from roughly sixty percent Mastiff and forty percent Bulldog, this breed was recognized by the AKC in 1933. Bullmastiffs are large dogs, typically weighing 100 to 130 pounds, with a broad wrinkled head, dark muzzle, and a short, dense coat in fawn, red, or brindle. They are remarkably docile and affectionate with family members, forming strong bonds—especially with children. Naturally protective yet not unnecessarily aggressive, Bullmastiffs make loyal guardians who benefit from moderate daily exercise and consistent, patient training. They thrive in homes with experienced owners and a securely fenced yard, with early socialization helping temper their territorial instincts.
Order more than one to enhance your space and save—a stylish, durable way to honor the Bullmastiff in daily life while protecting tabletops from moisture.
